I'm going to introduce you to one of the hubby & I's couple quirks.
We've eaten dinner past 11pm like 3 nights out of the last week.
When we tell people that, they get wide eyes and look at us like we've committed a heinous crime. Apparently it's really unhealthy. Oops. But what do you do when you're busy, busy, busy and realize around that time that you haven't eaten dinner yet? We're not the types to skip a meal. Nope. Food is always very welcome in our bellies. The problem is, these late night dinners are usually not just cereal or a sandwich. A couple nights ago, we grilled out at midnight. And last night I was standing in front of the cupboard at 11pm seriously contemplating making ground beef and chopping fresh veggies for nachos. And let's put this in context, I'd worked for 11 hours and Patrick worked all day, and we both had to get up early the next day. In the end, neither of us had the stamina to pull it off.
We caved to cereal.
