Stripes & Mint

I had my little nose turned up to stripes for a while. I could appreciate them in other's looks but didn't go out of my way to incorporate them in my own, and maybe even went out of my way to not incorporate them in my own. For a decidedly silly reason. They kind of exploded in the style scene this last year and style explosions seem to have a reverse effect on me sometimes. Tis all. So today is a rare day. I'm wearing stripes! I thought I could do some fun layering and color/print play with this red & white striped StyleMint top. First approach... mint skirt. One of my fav color combos!

What do ya think of my new frames, friends? I actually tried these bad boys on before I ordered them... online! You may have just died watching me as I struggled to take my photo on the GlassesUSA webcam. When your head is tilted left, it shows up as tilted right in the camera. I'm sure there's some logical/mechanical explanation for this but dang it messed with my brain and cracked me up. As well as my hubby onlooker. Who somehow mastered the camera in less than 3 seconds. Stinker.
