Work that Tweed

Amazing how a song can put a bit of spring in your step. Jack Johnson's Bubbly Toes came on the radio the other day and I swear it turned my day around. I was boppin my head and smiling like a fool on an otherwise mostly crappy day. Thankful for little bits of sunshine like that. Speaking of little bits of sunshine... we had a massive blizzard yesterday. (How is that tied to little bits of sunshine, you may ask? Weather, weather, weather. I like to stretch my segways. Think of it as a little brain teaser.) I myself like a fresh foot of snow. Gives us some pretty relief from the grey dirty coat that covers it about 2 days afterwards. I think cities are prettiest after a big snow. Nothing is spared from the whimsicalest  of precipitation forms. For a few hours, everything's sparkling.

That song takes me back to high school every time I hear it! I'm pretty sure it was on constant repeat in my cd player the summer after my sophomore year. Oh the good old days:)

I guess I should probably put my thrifted tweed blazer to use. I've seen so many looks with it!!

I love snow...surprisingly. Haha! Lucky enough, it wasn't too cold during the snow storm!

Cute flats! :)

I just adore tweed! I love how crisp and chic it looks with a nice white button down blouse. Paired with a basic jean, you have yourself a super classy look! xo
